UEFA Futsal Champions League Elite Round

Peter Nurse was recently in November to referee in the Elite round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League is Lisbon. The Elite round is equivalent to the quarter finals of the competition.

Member of the Year

Congratulations to Robert Adamson who received our member of the year award inrecongnition of his promortion and appointments throughout the season. Photo available on the meber of the year photo page here.

Futsal World Cup Elite Qualification Round

Peter Nurse was recently appointed to referee Italy vs Slovenia in the elite round of qualifcation for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Promotions
Congratulations to society members for their promotions that they take in to the new season:

Charlotte Cochrane : Level 3W and Level 6.

Robert Adamson : Level 5

Peter Nurse : UEFA Futsal Elite Category

FA Referee Recognition Awards
Congratulations to society members Charlotte Cochrane and Peter Nurse who both received awards at the inagurual Referee Recognition Awards which took place at Wembley Stadium.

Charlotte received was highly commended in the Inspiratonal Role Model Award and Peter was recongnised for his part in the refereeing team for the UEFA Futsal U19 European Championship Final.

Dave Redhead
The Society is sad to learn of the passing of former member Dave Redhead. Dave can be seen in the photo below (4th from the right) playing for the Society football team.

Womens FA Cup Appointment
Congratulations to Charlotte Cochrane who recently refereeing in the first qualifying round of the Womens FA Cup.

Member of the Year

UEFA Futsal u19 European Championship Finals appointment

Peter Nurse was recently appointed to the finals of the UEFA Futsal u19 European Championships held in Jaen, Spain. Peter refereed three group games, a semi final and was one of the five strong referee team for the final between Spain and Portugal.
